Alderley Edge 234-9 dec, Oulton Park 235-4 (Oulton Park win by six wickets) - A COMPREHENSIVE win for defending champions Oulton Park put Alderley Edge’s own title ambitions, in the ECB Cheshire Premier League, into perspective.

Edge lost a crucial toss last Saturday at Little Budworth on a pitch that looked as though the previous day’s rain would give help to the quicker bowlers for the first couple of hours.
