Albion win Dukinfield clash

WILMSLOW Albion beat Dukinfield Town 3-2 last Saturday.

Wilmslow started the game livelier and were one up within two mintues when a long ball over the top from Green found Neary who slotted home.

Wilmslow then dominated the first half but could not finish their chances with Neary, Ifere and Ault the biggest culprits.

Mid way through the half, Raynes made it 2-0 after a bullet header from a Roberts corner.

Wilmslow withstood everything that Town threw at them and went into half-time 2-0 ahead.

Albion created some fine chances but again Neary, Ifere and Roberts were guilty of failing to convert them.

Dukinfield pulled agoal back from a free-kick that flew into the top corner, leaving the keeper no chance.

Wilmslow had to withstand some heavy pressure but survived and restored their two-goal lead through a neat finish from Hunt.

Town pulled one back from another long range effort but Wilmslow held out to win the game 3-2.
