Defeat for Albion

2/ 1/2008

WILMSLOW Albion couldn’t make it two wins from two on Saturday, going down in a 4-2 defeat against Manchester Juniors.

Wilmslow conceded an early goal and, although dominating the first half, turned around 1-0 down.

Juniors won a second-half penalty on a breakaway attack and doubled the lead before Jenkins pulled one back for Albion.

A goalkeeping error allowed Juniors to restore their two-goal advantage and, although McGuire netted Albion’s second, Juniors added a late fourth.
