Fresh boost for campaign

5/ 4/2006

THE HANDS off our Hospital campaign was given a welcome boost this week as Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust voted unanimously to keep inpatient children's and maternity services at Macclesfield Hospital.

But the battle is far from won and we need to continue voting for Option D right up to the consultation deadline on Friday, May 12.

And residents will have another chance to have their say on proposals to cut the women and children's services at an extra public meeting. Organised by the PCT, it takes place at Macclesfield Town Hall on Tuesday, April 11, from 6.30pm.
