HANDFORTH Gardening Society’s next meeting takes place on Tuesday, October 7.
Meeting at St Mary’s Methodist Church Hall in the village. The second talk of the 2008/09 year will feature speaker and old friend of the society Anthony Norman.
The owner of Conquest Nursery, Anthony will be talking about variagated plants, some of which he has exhibited at the Tatton Flower Show in his talk on ‘Colour in the Leaf’ – a subject which is particularly topical for this time of year.
