WILMSLOW SOUTH: Rod Menlove (Con)

ROD has lived in Wilmslow for 20 years and has been a borough councillor since May last year.
With a background is commercial marketing research, he has also spent periods during his working life as a business adviser, an account manager and a market researcher.
Married to Sue, they have two children who both attended Wilmslow High School, where Rod was actively involved with the PTA and spent two years as chairman. He is also a governor at Styal Primary School.
"I am committed to improving the quality of life of Wilmslow residents and the overall appearance of our town.
"In the short term, I want to continue to tackle problems such as commuter all day parking in residential areas, animal mess, redundant road signage clutter; over development of residential housing and the poor state of our potholed roads."
In the longer term, and together with all interested parties, Rod said he wants to discuss what people want their town to be like.
If elected, Rod said he would continue to fight for value for money local services which meet the needs of Wilmslow people.
