GARY has lived in Wilmslow for 24 years and went to Ashdene County Primary and Manchester Grammar School before completing a master's degree in classics and ancient history at Manchester University.
He has worked in Wildings camera shop and Barclays in Wilmslow, and now works as a telecommunications analyst.
Gary was elected to the borough council last year and at 25 is the youngest councillor on Macclesfield Borough Council.
He said:"Wilmslow is my home town and an affluent area and I would like to improve the parking problems, the poor condition of the roads and the cleanliness of the area to reflect this.
"I am a keen environmentalist and I believe that doorstep plastic collection is a must for the new council.
"I want to continue to represent local residents to ensure that their concerns are listened to and acted upon and that Cheshire East gives Wilmslow the attention and investment it deserves."
