   Ace, I am well aware of what goes on in the Third World, having a brian. And yes, cheap labour out there does indeed feed families. However, we seem to have gone down the road of the cheaper the better, which doesn't do anyone any good. If Asda are paying less to the suppliers, this means that the cheap labour gets paid even less.....work it out, which means, as inflation in poor countries is not at a standstill or at a negative percentage, that they have to work longer hours to afford lifes basics that we take for granted.

   Pippa, Manchester Do you honestly think that these people in the third world care about what we do in the west? not a chance.If you stop child labour in the middle east etc you take away a income from the family ,that could mean life and death to some.We are stupid in the west and need to keep our noses out of other peoples business.

   And they can afford to do this because ? Wouldn't be the cheap hard labour (possibly even child labour) in third world countries would it?
