A year ago my grandson, almost 2 years old at the time, was rushed by emergency ambulance from his home in Macclesfield to the hospital. Mr. Spillman and his team saw him immediately and he was admitted: suspected meningitis. 3 very worrying days followed while uncomfortable (to the child) tests were taken and medication supplied by intravenous drip into both of his hands. Fortunately there was a happy outcome. We were impressed by the speedy professional response given, the dedicated care taken of him (and his parents) and plead with those wishing to reverse this outstanding service to think again.
