Just what the hell are the police there for. The quote from the Inspector is an absolute disgrace. His counter part at Macclesfield is just the same with puerile, inane responses that insult the public who they serve.

Just what do you have to do to get the Police to respond. Think about it. If a Councillor cannot get a response, what chance has ordinary, Joe Soap Council Tax Ratepayer got? Have you seen those new uniforms, absolute rubbish, and a complete waste of money. No wonder the Police wanted an increased police concept in the council tax. 2,200 officers one new uniform at say £100. Common sense tells you that to be functional they must have, say 4 if not 5 minimum. That is one hell of a waste of money. I have never seen law enforcement officers looking so scruffy: and they expect respect?

When will the Police actually do their job, properly. Mind you they must be following the Chief Constable’s policy, so perhaps a time to move on?
