Why is it after fighting for taxis to park in the ranks designed for them earlier this year, that I am now kept awake at night because the police seem incapable of enforcing taxi drivers to park in the correct places. Surely if the taxis ranked in the designated places where they are supposed to be instead of congrigating outside my apartment on Green Lane and causing people to hang around waiting until one arrives causing a disturbance, then this would help solve some of the problem. Having already spoken to several drivers and been abused by some they tell me that Inspector Luke McDonnald has told them not to bother with the ranks and to park up where the people are???

I am not sure how he would react if he was kept awake at least 5 nights out of 7 by diesel engines running, doors slamming and drivers stood about laughing and joking for hours on end!!!!
