Time to shoot the owners and not the dogs

WHAT'S going on with local dog owners?

Last week some lunatic took an untrained Rottweiler through Macclesfield town centre where it savaged a small dog trotting along on a lead with its 78-year-old lady owner.

This week an 80-year-old woman writes of her horrifying ordeal when her little pooch was attacked by two large vicious dogs at Varden Bridge by the River Bollin. She was clearly traumatised after being dragged to the ground trying to protect her pet.

With more dog training programmes on TV than you can throw a stick for, how come these idiot owners still exist? Maybe they are too stupid to learn?

What sort of moron walks a vicious, untrained Rottweiler through the town centre or allows two to run free in a public area?

Farmers have a legal right to shoot savage dogs. I think this law needs amending.

The dogs are intelligent enough to be retrained, the owners are not.

So save the dogs... shoot the owners.
