DESPITE the furore surrounding MP’s expenses our politicians just don’t seem to get it.
So, let’s spell it out: you discover your housekeeper, a lady you trust implicitly, has been charging your account with all manner of personal items disguised as ‘household expenditure’. She goes into immediate denial before finally accepting her deception and agrees to pay back the money.
Do you allow her to continue her duties as if nothing had happened or terminate her employment forthwith?
Assuming all those MPs who insist they were totally unaware of any excessive claims are telling the truth. Do we, as an electorate, want such naive individuals in charge of the United Kingdom? Should they insist we wage war on another nation? How can we possibly trust their judgement?
If, on the other hand they are being ‘economical with the truth’ then we don’t want them.
Either way they need to go. I have but one word for them all – goodbye.

The lot of them disgust me. Some have argued they were encouraged to claim etc - oh well, thats alright then! It's fundamentally wrong and shouldnt have been allowed ever in the first place. No receipts, no income tax no vat (although i believe the house of commons bar has vat on the drinks after years of it being tax free - swines) they should be auditioning for a re-make of Only Fools And Horses not attempting to run the country.
If they cant apply governance to themselves how can we trust them to get anything right?

All this talk of rules and no talk of right and wrong.
