Can anybody help me?

I BOUGHT myself an iPhone this week; it’s absolutely brilliant. I can stroll directly to any address using Sat Nav while reading my e-mails and checking the weather forecast to see if I need an umbrella. Fantastic.

No sooner had I signed the contract than my network provider called to sell me insurance (which I already have). "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" the agent enquired.

"As a matter of fact there is. When I placed my order I gave the wrong bank account number so I’d like you to change it."

There was an awkward pause. "I’m unable to do that sir, is there anything else I can help you with today?"

"Yes, put me through to someone who will take down the correct details."

"I’m afraid I can’t do that. Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

"Get the right person to contact me on this number."

"Can’t do that. Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

"How about telling me what you CAN do?"

"I can sell you insurance."

Grrrrr…
