I KNOW I keep banging on about this, and I do want you to enjoy your Christmas but if you can spare a small donation for local charities like Macclesfield Mind in Duke Street who struggle every day to stay afloat they’d really appreciate it.

Maybe you’d care to visit Windyway Kennels on Buxton Old Road and give a disadvantaged dog like Ellie a chance at life. 

Look, it’s Christmas, so here’s what we’ll do.

Tell us how much you’ve sent to Macclesfield Mind and I promise that Mrs B and I will match it.

Rescue a dog from Windyway and I’ll give you a free training session to help you get started on the right foot.

   I sent a cheque this morning for £1,000,000. I just don't not know what my bank manager will say when he gets it.
