Different Perspectives
BY ANGELA KELLY29/ 9/2006
A CHALLENGING relationship between a Jamaican father and his son
is the theme of a fascinating drama coming to Manchester's Contact
Theatre.
Different Perspectives shows the inner struggle of a young man with
the world at his fingertips who is seduced by a life of crime and
forced to decide which path to take.
Film, live action and sound are all used in this unusual dramatic
journey. It runs from Tuesday, October 3 until Saturday, October 7
- as does a second play at the same venue and dates.
"Township Stories" has been playing to sold-out houses across
Edinburgh and offers a shocking and engrossing piece of theatre. A
young girl runs away from home after a lifetime of abuse, only to
find solace in the arms of a gangster who believes all life's ills
can be solved with violence.
