Preview - 10 years of Bridgewater Hall

THE Bridgewater Hall is 10 years old and marks it with a Sounds of Celebration gala concert on Sunday. The afternoon of music and conversation, presented by BBC Radio 3's Petroc Trelawny, will feature key players from the city's vibrant classical music scene.

The programme will include performances by the Hallé Youth Orchestra, the Hallé Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Martin Roscoe, organist Wayne Marshall and the BBC Philharmonic's leader Yuri Torchinsky.

The Bridgewater will also open at 10am for a morning of free music, workshops and tours.
