Battle over the Baldwin inheritance
Conrad Astley28/ 4/2006
Coronation Street. The moment we were all
waiting for has finally arrived. Danny and Adam, who have been
squaring up for weeks over who gets their greasy paws on Baldwin's
fortunes, finally sort it out good and proper.
Adam goes out to celebrate his 18th birthday and has had a skinfull
by the time Danny comes by and taunts him. Having a go at an angry
Scot with a bellyfull of beer? Not a good move, especially when
Ken's not around to hold him back.
The pair go for it and blood is spilt upon those cobbles once
more.
It's not a good week for the poor old barrel boy. Not only does he
get a few cuts in a street brawl, but things aren't going too well
with his soon-to-be ex wife.
Suppose that's what you get for having an affair with your son's
girlfriend.
Things don't get off to a flying start following Lloyd's decision
to shack up with Kelly. No sooner has she moved in, when she brings
her oddball mate Becky around to stay.
Lloyd doesn't think this is such a great idea, but changes his mind
when Becky gets up early one morning to make him a fried
breakfast.
And things aren't going too well for young lovers Craig and Rosie.
You'd have thought him rushing to her side after her road accident
would have cemented the relationship, but no. She's going off him
because he's ditched the Goth look.
EastEnders. Sonia's 21st birthday isn't all that
most young women would dream of. She fears she could lose daughter
Rebecca for good, after grandma Margaret turns up and says she
wants Sonia to become the child's legal guardian. The big problem
is, Margaret thinks she's still with Martin. She asks Martin to put
on a pretence that they're still together.
Emmerdale. These politicians will do anything to
win elections. Eric Pollard wants some dirt on rival Irvin Ward,
and thinks he's got it when the local dominatrix turns up. But he
ends up in a sensitive position himself - with a newspaper
photographer there to capture the action.
