Kathleen Donkin

WELL-known travel agent Mrs Kathleen Donkin, of Ashlands Nursing Home, Turnpike, died at home on Monday, aged 77.
Mrs Donkin spent her working life in Blackpool, St Anne’s and Lytham.
She was a member of SKAL, a travel, tourism and trade organisation, and had connections with Sion Baptist Church, in Burnley.
Mrs Donkin enjoyed travelling the world with her family and friends, cooking, dressmaking and looking after her family’s dogs and cats when her family were on holiday.
Wife of the late Richard, she leaves her cousin Duncan and his wife June and their family, cousins Frank and Sheila and their families and many friends.
Her funeral is on Tuesday 2 September when the Rev Andy Williams will conduct a service and cremation at Burnley at 11.20am. Family flowers only with donations welcome toThe Parkinson’s Society c/o funeral director: Martin Edmondson for Fred Hamer Funeral Service, Rawtenstall.
