FORMER Lancashire County Council home help Mrs Emily Quinton, of West Street, Waterfoot, died at home, aged 77.

She was home help and warden of Mytholme House, Waterfoot.

Mrs Quinton, nee Hatton, loved the Rossendale Valley and enjoyed walking and taking in the scenery.

Wife of the late Jack, she leaves her daughter Brenda, son David and grandsons Colin and Steven.

Her funeral was on Friday 15 August when the Rev Sue Davies conducts a service and cremation at Burnley at 2.20pm. Family flowers only with donations to Cancer Research UK c/o funeral director: Sharon Aspinall for Ashworth and Baker Funeral Service, Waterfoot.
